Building Bright Futures Annual Event

D2 Center staff gathered at the Ramada Plaza in Omaha on November 7 to participate in the Building Bright Futures and Avenue Scholars annual community event, Illuminating Pathways to Educational Excellence. The D2 Center is a Building Bright Futures (BBF) program; the annual event provided the opportunity to share information with the greater Omaha community and our partners, alongside all BBF programs.

We got the chance to hear from the several speakers, including Michael Yanney and Richard Holland from the BBF board, and most importantly, we got to hear directly from the students and families that BBF programs serve through video presentations and a live panel.

Check out the Omaha World-Herald’s article about the event, as well as BBF Executive Director John Cavanaugh’s appearance on Morning Blend.

See you next year!
