There are two classes left to sign up for this summer, along with one-on-one math by appointment. For students who are behind in credits, this is a great way to catch up! Please call Greg Emmel at 402-502-8534 with questions or to enroll. Details:

Better Family Health: Monday, July 8 – Wednesday, July 24 (9 a.m. – 1 p.m. weekdays)

– This hybrid course will allow students who participate in the Teen and Young Parent Program up to 15 earned hours in community-based educational programs with identified agency partners.

Literacy and Life Skills: Thursday, July 25 – Monday, August 12 (9 a.m. – 1 p.m. weekdays)

Math Elective Credit: June and July at scheduled times

– Students master the fundamentals of mathematics and beyond by using Khan Academy (online) in a math computer lab setting.
– A diagnostic test at the beginning of the course allows teachers to differentiate instruction, build on individual math skills, and provide 1:1 assistance.
– Students need to call D2 Center Director Greg Emmel (402-502-8534) to schedule times to complete the course.

*All courses are for elective credit and a minimum of 45 hours of class time and the successful completion of all assignments and tests is required. Courses are graded pass/fail.
