New Re-engagement Guide from U.S. Department of Education

by | Jan 22, 2015 | General, News, NLC Reengagement Network

A new re-engagement guide (PDF), “Bringing Students Back to the Center: A Resource Guide for Implementing and Enhancing Re-Engagement Centers for Out-of-School Youth,” has been posted on the U.S. Department of Education website (PDF). The publication was funded by the U.S. Department of Education and was conducted by the Millennium Group, LLC and Johns Hopkins University Everyone Graduates Center. The D2 Center was one of ten sites included; sites “were selected based on the priorities of geographic diversity, length of established operation, demonstrated student and program success, and variation of organizational models.” Page 15 in the study is the profile of the D2 Center.

This guide is a great source of information on the idea of and need for re-engagement as a whole as well as different programs around the country.

We’re happy to be included with our colleagues and friends across the U.S. from the National League of Cities Dropout Re-engagement Network!
