The D2 Center summer elective credit class Literacy and Life Skills teachers and students held an Open House last Friday, July 26, 2019, attended by parents and family members, community support staff, and D2 Center staff. Everyone enjoyed bagels and fruit, and the students made oral presentations. The students selected, researched, and presented on a variety of topics including heart disease, global warming, city government, depression, alcohol effects and abuse, nutrition, sexual orientation and bullying, and hepatitis to name a few. Teachers Ms. Clem Bell and Ms. Jodie Martinez were proud of the students’ hard work as well as their oral presentation skills. Way to go, class!
