The Nebraska Youth Conservation Program is seeking Crew Members, ages 16-20, to work with the Nebraska Games & Parks Commission this summer, June 25 – August 3, 2012. This is a great opportunity to work outdoors in a state park and learn about landscaping, trail development, painting, carpentry, and vehicle maintenance.
The D2 Center is currently offering an elective credit math course called Numeracy: Fundamentals & Connections. Taught by Jackie Thomas and Donna Trout, this class helps students boost their math skills.
The D2 Center Careers and Community Engagement Class offers the chance to explore career options and learn job skills, and includes hands-on Career Experience Workshops in the community. This week brings two opportunities for banking hours towards an elective credit in this course.
