We’re pleased to offer students the opportunity to help our community and earn hours toward a Careers & Community Engagement Program elective credit. The University of Nebraska-Omaha Office of Civic and Social Responsibility will facilitate their annual Martin Luther King Day of Service activities for service learning and volunteer opportunities on Monday, January 20th. Students will meet at North High no later than 8:30 AM and catch a bus to the different volunteer sites available. They will return to North High at 1 PM for a FREE lunch and a brief presentation, then dismissed at 2 PM. Please use this link https://orgsync.com/70488/forms/92097 to register, and call D2 Center Careers & Community Engagement Project Coordinator Ebony Hawkins at 402-502-8534 to let her know you’ll be participating.
