What is D2?

Our mission is to connect out-of-school and disengaged youth ages 15-21 into an educational pathway with other resources and supports needed to earn a high school diploma and prepare for post-secondary opportunities and a career.

In short, we’re here to help you earn your diploma and plan for your future!

Enrollment Process

All services offered by the D2 Center are free and we’re available to meet wherever it’s convenient for you!

It’s easy to get started – check out the basics below.

1. Apply

Complete an application online or call us at 402-502-8534 to get started.

2. Set Goals

Our Staff Specialist, Jodie Martinez, will contact you so she can get to know you and discuss your goals.

3. Assess & Strategize

Meet with the Staff Specialist Jodie and your newly assigned Youth Academic Navigator (YAN) to discuss your individual plan.*

4. Get Going

Your YAN will be by your side, offering guidance and encouragment every step of the way!

* Parental consent is required for all students under age 18.

What is the Difference Between a Diploma and a GED?

Am I Eligible?

We serve out-of-school or disengaged youth ages 15-21 in Douglas and Sarpy Counties. You must meet the following criteria:

1) Age 15-21 (at least a 2nd semester 9th grader)

2) Able to earn a high school diploma by age 21

3) Voluntary – student choice to participate

4) Out-of-school, disengaging from school, or attending an alternative education program
