D2 Center Math and Reading Classes Available

by | Feb 11, 2013 | D2 Center Courses, General

The D2 Center offers two ongoing elective credit courses taught by certified teachers: Math and Reading. These classes are available twice a week and each class allows students the opportunity to bring in assignments from current classes they’re taking in their traditional high school or alternative program and receive individual assistance. Students can bank hours they attend and may eventually earn an elective credit after completing their coursework and a minimum of 45 hours.

— Math is available Monday and Wednesday afternoons.

— Reading is available Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

In order to be as flexible as possible for our students, these classes operate on a drop-in basis. When students attend the first time, they exchange contact information with their teacher and, from then on, communicate directly with the teacher about the days and times they’ll attend. New students can start anytime since the instruction is individualized.

These classes are available only to D2 Center students. Metro bus passes are available to students for transportation to or from the D2 Center. To sign up for the class, please call D2 Center Director Greg Emmel at 402-502-8534 (office) or call or text 402-982-9022 (cell).
